wow this is great and definitely needed for the iphone app. when is this new release planned to be out?

It's out right now in the iTunes store! http://bit.ly/365workouts

I bought your ap. It's very comprehensive. A couple of notes: No sound during the tabata countdown although the app is set to “on” and my sound on the I-phone is on. (The sound is audible on the vids). Second – I expected your wods to correspond to Crossfit WODs. How do you come up with your workout plans?

  • http://kortina.net kortina

Hmm, I haven't yet heard a bug report about the sound on the tabata
timer. Do you have an iPhone or iPod touch. Which model? Perhaps try
making sure the sound switch on the phone is on and the volume is up
    *before* entering the app?

The workout plans do not correspond directly to the Crossfit WODs.
Many of the workouts are inspired by Crossfit workouts, but I came up
with most of these because I'm a bit of a nomad and find the
constraints of going to a gym burdensome. Hence, these workouts are
designed to require no equipment ( other than sometimes a bar for
pullups or knees to elbows ). The workouts are ideal for exercising
outdoors in the park–which I highly recommend–or for when you're on
the road and want to do a quick workout in your hotel room.

I've been doing this style of exercise for years and have found it
feels the most natural to exercise using your body weight, running,
and jumping. It's also a lot of fun and reminds me of being a kid
    again.

Oops. My bad. Scratch my comment about the Tabata timer sound. The Iphone is a new thing to me. I didn't realize I inadvertently switched off the toggle on the side that switches off the ringer and sound fx. I didn't even know that toggle existed until I asked someone else about it.

Very good app…Like these types of exercises, extremely functional. I am completely on board with the physical and mental value of doing bodyweight exercises regularly. People of all ages should be doing them.

I think you are going to do great with this app.

Hi there…I'm looking for contact information for the publisher of this app. I'm working on a top 5 fitness app story for CNET.com and would like to speak to someone regarding the possibility of Workout of the Day being included in my roundup. I can be reached at jasmine_dot_france_at_cnet_dot_com. Thanks!

Have you wondered how your live could be if you worked out a bit more ? I see all types of pills and lose 20 lbs a week programs but why doesn't anyone take some time of and run, swim or walk around the park (at least). So many people are suffering from ejaculare but they believe every add that will make their lives better “guaranteed”. Why are we so trusting ?

Hi…love the app but I have a hard time counting and working out. Are there any plans to add a set counter to the Tabata Timer?

  • http://kortina.net kortina

Yes, this is on the feature list for the next release, although I am
not sure when it will be released.

A snap view of what to “exercise” for the day, hmmm great tutorial huh!

Q: The tabata work out is as many as you can in 20 seconds? 8 intervals total? is 4 min a day all that is needed Q: You mention 10 min work outs. Is that taking any of the execise and with work and rest intervals do as many as possible?

  • khendon

What do you do per day? the Tabata work out routine or all you can do in 10min workout?

  • http://kortina.net kortina

Yes, tabata intervals are done in sets of 8 intervals, but typically you do
4 different exercises, so 32 intervals / 16 minutes total.

Some of the other workouts are things like as many rounds as possible of 3
different exercises in 10 min or things like 21-15-9 burpees+situps+pullups,
    which may take 10-20 minutes.

thanks that help explained alot. One other question. Which routine do you recomend? the Tabata or the other type work outs. Do you do them everyother day or everyday?

    Again Thanks!

They are all good. Best practice is to mix it up. Recommended cycle is 3
days on, 1 day off, but honestly I just workout every day I have time so I
don't feel bad on the days I miss.
