Emulating the rigorous simplicity and discipline of Spartans will eliminate clutter, save time, and increase your productivity.
Although Spartan simplicity is a broadly applicable lifestyle design principle, the best place to begin is with exercise, as improved fitness tends to improve all other parts of your life as well.
Exercise using your body weight and heavy objects you find around you. Instead of wasting time in transit back and forth from the gym, try doing 50-100 burpees at the closest park or in your yard or basement.
Nutrition: Eat simple real foods–meat, vegetables, nuts, berries, and other things you find around the perimeter of the grocery store. Avoid foods that come in packages (look at the number of words you don’t know on the ingredients list!).
